Counselors-in-Training Program for Rising 6th and 7th Grade Girls.
The Counselor-in-Training Program at Camp Gan Izzy is designed to offer qualified young girls an opportunity to develop leadership skills, as well as, sensitivity and care for younger children in our amazing CGI atmosphere. In order to become a CIT, 6th and 7th grade girls must possess:
-a genuine interest in working with younger campers and be willing to commit the required energy, enthusiasm and cooperation in all aspects of the program.
-a positive and cooperative attitude and pleasant disposition are critical personal attributes for the position.
Every summer we have an orientation for CIT Campers and their parents before the first day of camp. This year the open house will be: DATE AND TIME COMING SOON!!!!
This is an opportunity for your child to get acquainted with their camp, as well as, meet their counselor. This is the only orientation we will have, so all CIT Campers are welcome, regardless of which weeks they will be attending.
If your child has any allergies, please be sure to discuss it with his/her teacher at orientation. Please bring your child's *epi pen or any medication (in original packaging) that your child will need during camp.
Please bring filled out waivers for trips. They will be sent in the mail with the calendar and can be found on the website, as well.
At the open house all families will receive: camp t-shirts and car magnets that are needed for carpool.
