CHILDREN WITH ALLERGIES: Our camp is peanut free all summer due to a few severe peanut allergies among our campers. If your child eats anything with peanuts or peanut butter in the morning before camp, please be sure his/her hands are washed with soap before coming to camp. If your child has a severe food allergy, please contact us.

ORIENTATION: Every summer we have an orientation for Kiddie Camp Children and their parents. This year, the orientation will be held Sunday, June 23rd from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. This is an opportunity for your child to get acquainted with their camp, as well as, meet their teacher/counselor. If your child has any allergies, please be sure to discuss it with his/her teacher at orientation. This is the only orientation we will have, so all Kiddie campers are welcome, regardless of which weeks they will be attending.

BEFORE CARE AND AFTER CARE: Before care and after care are available by the week only, for an additional fee.

Before care begins at 8:00 am. We ask that parents drive to the back of the building and walk their child into the first classroom, where an adult will be waiting.
After care is from 3:30-5:30 pm. Parents are asked to pull to the back of the building and walk in to pick up their child.

  • Please send a bag every day with a bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, and water shoes with your child’s name on them.
  • Please apply sunscreen before camp and we will re-apply as necessary.
  • An empty Sippy cup or any drinking cup with a lid - please make sure it is labeled.
  • Please send to camp on the first day: A change of clothing in a labeled, large Ziploc, which will be returned when camp ends.

CAMP T-SHIRTS: Your child will receive a camp t-shirt on his/her first day. It is not mandatory for the campers to wear the t-shirts on any day.

CELEBRATING YOUR CHILD’S BIRTHDAY AT CAMP: We would love to celebrate your child’s birthday at camp. Please contact us a week in advance and let us know which day you would like the celebration to be. We will get back to you with the best time, as well as the number of children in your child’s bunk. We ask that you order your child’s cake/cupcakes from Ali’s Cookies (770.971.8566) on Johnson Ferry Road and request that the item is pareve (non-dairy).

CHILDREN WHO MISS A DAY OF CAMP: If your child is sick and unable to come to camp, we would appreciate a phone call or email to let us know. Unfortunately we cannot offer make up days during another week.

CAMP CALENDAR: Every day will feature another exciting activity, please click here to view the Kiddie Camp calendar.

TZEDAKAH: We provide coins for the children to give tzedakah (money for charity) every day to develop a daily habit of sharing. This will help children associate money with giving and doing a good deed.

SUNSCREEN: We ask that parents apply sunscreen before camp each day. You may send additional sunscreen along for your child if they remain in camp for the full day program and their counselor will reapply as necessary.

LUNCH PROGRAM: Camp Gan Israel provides a delicious hot lunch for all the campers. We ask that parents do not send in any food due to Kosher policies at our camp. If your child has any food allergies please let us know.

PHOTO ALBUM: Each day pictures of the activities will be available on our website, and on our Facebook page for you to enjoy.
