CHILDREN WITH ALLERGIES:

Our camp is peanut free all summer due to a few severe peanut allergies among our campers. If your child eats anything with peanuts or peanut butter in the morning before camp, please be sure his/her hands are washed with soap before coming to camp. If your child has a severe food allergy or food restrictions, please let us knows.

ORIENTATION:

Every summer we have an orientation for Kiddie Camp Children and their parents before the first day of camp. This year the open house will be: Sunday, June 23rd from 3:00PM - 5:00 PM   This is an opportunity for your child to get acquainted with their camp, as well as, meet their teacher/counselor.  This is the only orientation we will have, so all Kiddie campers are welcome, regardless of which weeks they will be attending.

If your child has any allergies, please be sure to discuss it with his/her teacher at orientation. Please bring your child's  *epi pen or any medication (in original packaging) that your child will need during camp.

Kiddie camp families should bring:
*change of clothing; labeled with their complete name
*mat for quiet time (2's and 3's); labeled with their complete name

At the open house all families will receive: camp t-shirts and car magnets that are needed for carpool.

TZEDAKAH:

We provide coins for the children to give tzedakah (money for charity) every day to develop a daily habit of sharing. This will help children associate money with giving and doing a good deed.

We ask that parents apply sunscreen before camp each day. Please send sunscreen and their counselor will reapply as necessary.

LUNCH PROGRAM:

Camp Gan Israel provides a delicious hot lunch for all the campers. We ask that parents do not send in any food due to Kosher policies at our camp. If your child has any food allergies or restrictions,  please let us know.
