Camp Gan Israel was created to provide children with a fun and meaningful summer program, while fostering growth individually and socially in a Jewish atmosphere.

Camp Gan Izzy's Kiddie Camp is known for its loving and nurturing staff that shows tremendous care and concern for each and every camper. The children enjoy a fun filled summer experience!

Water activities:  Campers cool off each day by splashing in kiddie pools and sprinklers. Every child should bring a bag with their bathing suit, towel, and water shoes to camp each day.

Yoga for Kids: Campers enjoy weekly Yoga classes with a professional Yoga instructor that specializes in Kiddie Yoga.

Playball:  The campers love their Playball time each week with professional Playball coaches that introduce them to a variety of athletics in a fun manner.

Music Class: The children love to sing along with their music instructor in these weekly classes that focus on rhythm, music, Hebrew language and more.

Science:  Kiddie Camp enjoys weekly science fun and discoveries that tie in to the weekly theme!

Gardening: The campers spend time each week in the camp's large vegetable garden. They experience weeding, planting and picking the ripe tomatoes, string beans and many other vegetables that grow in the garden. They learn how to care for the vegetables and get to enjoy a delicious and healthy snack.

Art: Children enjoy free art as well as Judaic art that they are so proud to bring home and share.

Kosher Chefs:  Kosher Chefs is a weekly preschool cooking class for our youngest campers. Please see our camp calendar to see what your child will be cooking each week.

Shabbat Program: Children love our weekly Shabbat parties! Our exciting and inspirational Shabbat Extravaganza is a wonderful way for the children to end their camp week and to take home the warmth and joy of camp for Shabbat.

Tzedakah: We encourage the children to bring tzedakah (money for charity) every day. A penny or two is fine.  The point is to develop a daily habit of sharing.  It also helps children associate money with giving and doing a good deed.

Sunscreen: We ask that parents apply sunscreen before camp each day. You may send additional sunscreen along for your child if they remain in camp for the full day program and their counselor will reapply as necessary.

Lunch Program: Camp Gan Israel provides a delicious hot lunch for all the campers. We ask that parents do not send in any food due to Kosher policies at our camp. If your child has any food allergies please let us know.

Photo Album: Each day pictures of the activities will be available on our homepage,   and on our Facebook page for you to enjoy.
